At the place victoire there are a lot of pubs, but they all close at 2 o clock. After that you can go to discos, which are situated behind the Gare St. Jean.

Living directly on campus has both pros and cons: At first i was really happy, because it is near the university and a lot of other exchange students lived there as well. Nevertheless, the housing association did not care about our problems and often tricked us to get more money.

At first I really had difficulties expressing myself in daily life, because I did not know the vocabs. However, I learned a lot from local students as we had a lot of group work in school. Unfortunately after school we did not have that much of contact to local students, because we mostly went out with other exchange students, which means that we talked in english.
