Leeds Metropolitan University (LMU)

Leeds is one of the best city to have a great student life in England. There are so many different places, so many concerts, so many bars and pubs... My favourite was definitely the Wardrobe, where you can listen jazz music, or the hifi on sunday night for the concerts(free and friendly)... In Hyde park there is a small beautiful place called the Moorish: you can chill there and have some amazing drinks and cakes!!

Leeds has plenty plenty to offer, just head down to the Corn Exchange area; where the life is, especially the back of Corn Exchange. Look out for the university students' newspaper, you'll find quite a few recommendations.

As a Norwegian we felt more relaxed at a place called Walkabout. A typical party place where people are stressed off and relaxed in their behavior. A place to meet people from different nationalities.

the best discotheque in UK is Majestik, very near there. The best thing, the parties organised by the University and the residence. Don't miss Planet Earth disco and visit Victoria Street with all kind of shops.

A lot: I just mention a few that i felt are really outstanding: Northern Light, Townhouse, Revolution, Bar Risa, Mission. All cafe`s & bars near the corn exchange have to be recommended.

Nice areas outside town for hiking, mountain biking, etc. Very good nightlife - personal favorites: Majestyk, Planet Earth, Club Europa. Nice pubs - especially "the Oak"
