Personal comments
This is the most dissapointing area of the whole exchange expreiece. I believed that I will develop my language skills, however, I do not have many opportunities to speak German. There are too many people of my naionality living in my halls of residence and far too many natives. It is difficult to meet Germans and make friends with them while being an international student surrounded by people from my country and othe rinternational students who always prefer to speak English due to their poor knowledge of German language.

Personal spending habits
I spend less on food due to the differences in prices (pound versus euro). more on travel bacause I ski a lot and more on phone because there is no internet access at halls of residence and it is extremely difficult to get the internet access with any of the companies here.

Personal comments
I think that the accomodation provided is of a good standard, however there are discrepancies in prices between different halls of residence that do not corespond to the prices. Some halls of residence are of better or equal quality and are much cheaper than the others.
