Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
All the different Apartments were rent by a lot of different Students from all over the world. It was easy to get in touch with them. I prefer Apartments for the reason of space.

The Housing was arranged with the help of the host university. Though the price was quite high it was worth it because it was kept clean and we were well supported by the information desk employees. We were able to use a group room for weekly "international" cooking sesssions and were free to welcome visitors at any time. The apartment house is located 5 minutes from university and therefore perfectly situated for walking to ones classes.

Housing by and large arranged by one company Böstad Västerås, else you should seek by yourself. Mine is really far from uni, 20 minutes by bike, but others are really close to uni and you simply walk to school. What I dont like my current flat is the unavailabilty of common (communal) room which you can talk and interact with your neighbors

Vasagatan was the worst housing, but it was the one that was closer to the center, the discos and the university. If you are going with a car maybe is better to go to Park Hotel

The accomodation was quite good, even if the rooms were extremely small... but we were 100 metres from the University.

everything was good. Just 1 thing i wished is giving more information to the students who want to study abroad to there before they leave.
