McGill University Experience
Paul L
United States, Undergraduate
Financial Management, 2025
Overall
Teachers: All around not bad, some care a lot and will make themselves available to help out with any questions or problems. Some however are just there for the research and won’t exactly make themselves available whatsoever.
Students: All around great student life, most students are nice people and make the school what it is.
Courses: Most courses are taught very well and content wise are filled up with useful information.
Campus: The main campus is beautiful year round and is ver accessible and easy to understand.
Student life: Student life all around is great, 1st years live together and make friends there, or outside through clubs or sports, which are all also very well organized.
Services: Career office can be helpful as long as you reach out and build connections with the employees in the office

Career Office Review: You have to reach very deep to make relationships with people at career office; internships are scarce, they don’t tend to offer anything to you, a majority of Work is on you to do. All internship work that I did was from prior connections or networking on LinkedIn.

Personal recommendation
Its a great university with good lecturers and an interesting selection of modules. The campus is stunning and its close to everything. There is a brilliant international student society which organises trips to ottawa, new york etc. Be sure to sign up!

Science des données et apprentissage automatique
Marie-Noel L
Canada,
Artificial Intelligence, 2022
Overall

Personal recommendation
Try to arrange a sort of room/apartment swap possibility for exchange students. It probably sounds easy to let exchange students from abroad to get in touch with Canadian students who are also going on exchange, but, as far as I know, such thing doesn't really exist.
