The first few weeks will be hard but the school provides excellent opportunities to meet people from all around the world, take the initiative and go out on school trips and join student organizations.

They say it's a student town but quite honeslty, other than the socials organized by the "student union" not much goes on. That said, the socials are fun and frequent.

Final comments
If you want to live off campus, it is best to start early and prefer furnished to non-furnished. I havent been here long enough to say much else.
For the British: there is a Ryanair route between Reims and London Stanstead.
