HousingType of housing: Dormitory
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Because it is only 5 minutes to walk to school and all the exchange students are living there too.

Very close to school, too small rooms (9 square meters), no reception so you can let stay friends at your place, night guards checking the houses which makes the living there safe(r) and more quiet during night, newly furnished but still very simple.

Personal spending habits
Because there were a lot of interesting people to meet and to go out with (to practise other languages like spanish and english and to exchange international experiences). Moreover I often considerated it as an important priority to invest time and money to visit friends in their native country and city (Spain, Germany, USA, Japan, Alsace...).

It was quite disorganised the first year I arrived, however I know that the system has improved a lot since. The university has a tendency not to get involved in student affairs here and there is no advice for hunting for housing outside the on-campus residences unfortunately.

OverallThanks to my undergraduate program, I had the opportunity to spend a full year abroad , which was obviously my best year ever.
Our lectures are distributed mostly by ex-workers who now decided to devote themself to teaching, or external speakers still having a feet in the business world.
NEOMA is very active in between school competitions, such as the CHALLENGE competition (challenge between NEOMA and KEDGE) thanks to more than 40 association clubs anyone can express and develop its passion from Cooking to Entrepreneurship

Pros
The environment of our school, including an old castel and a huge grass space, where you can come to relax, work or do any kind of activities you want.
Cons
Normandy weather, If you need sun to evolve confidently in your environment then I highly recomand you not to think in going to NEOMA
