English was a instruction language, everyone in the uni were spedking only this language, also during the parties and other informal situation we spoke english- so- good experience

My English was improved a lot, but there were no improvements on my Dutch. (it was not necessary already)

Learn some Ducth used by daily life. Most of time, I speak English to communication with others.

I choosed the Netherlands for improving my English because everybody is speaking English.

I do not have more chance to communicate with foreigner excepte for being in school

Being study in alient, it is always necessary to learn local language and understand the local culture background. It would help you to melt into the local life and used to it. Before came to Holland, I could not speak Dutch, after several months living in Holland, I have communicated with Dutch poeple, speaking Dutch to them, gradually, I can speak more and more. Try to open your mouth and don't be shy is my way to learn and this method is really working!
