I wish I had known...
The teaching system. In the Netherlands it's very different than in Romania so at the begining it was a little bit dificult to acomodate with the new style of learning.

Overall, I would recommend this University but expect to adopt to the local rules fast or you'll fall behind.

Overall
Teachers are helpful and always ready to support you. There are opportunities for students with higher grades to work as teaching assistants, thus morally preparing them for an office job in the future, but also giving them the chance to help other students with their studies.

I arrived to Groningen with basic english and improved a lot. More than in university I learnt more english with my international friends. I did not know that dutch people talk so good english!!

Personal spending habits
I travelled a lot in the Netherlands, that's why Is pent more than at home. Housing in much cheap than in Paris. And telephone in very cheap in the Netherlands for the national communications.
