The only thing that is a bit difficult is getting a room, start looking for it like 4 months before going (at least) it all goes through the Houssing Office.

Almost every day there are Happy Hours in the different pubs and clubs. Groningen is not that big, so you will find everything very easily. There´s something for every taste. Also check all the flyers for parties!!

'De Zolder' ('The Attic') is memorable for its unique atmosphere and interesting beer. For a more mainstream night out, there are quite a few nightclubs on the main street. I rate 'Het Feest' as a fun place to go.
