Go to Manamini, you will find very cheap second-hand furniture. Abn-Amro is the best bank for students, you can have a coffe while you are waiting... The public phones work with cards (you can find them in the super-markets: Albert Heijn, Super de Boer...), you can also get a strippencaard for the bus with ten trams

Certain things in Holland such as rent and some foods are cheaper than in the UK. Also, bills were included in the rent which made a big difference.

I travelled a lot in the Netherlands, that's why Is pent more than at home. Housing in much cheap than in Paris. And telephone in very cheap in the Netherlands for the national communications.

For night life, I spent more cause partying 4 nights a week costs a lot and I don't do that over here! Same fro travelling, Erasmus gives you the need to travel a lot more than usually!

get a bike!spending money all the time on the transportation is not worth it.besides that this way you wont have to attend any sport activities since its a good practice to ride a bike every day
