Paris: don't miss the bars of Bastille and Menilmontant. A Saint-Germain experience in Chez Georges or le 10 bar (6e arr.) is a must. Much the best when it gets warm is the bords de Seine with your own booze and a few guitars and drums ... For music, le New Morning and la Maison de la Radio are places to look out for.
