The school didn't offer any advanced Spanish classes, so I didn't take it at all. But, I think my Spanish improved with every day use out and around the city.

Personal spending habits
You spend money so fast, it's amazing. I think it's because the money is different than you're used to...so it doesn't seem like you're spending as much.

Don't buy drinks at clubs, they are not worth it...buy drinks at a liquor store. Just because clothing is cheaper doesn't mean you have to buy it!

The professors didn't have us pay too much attention to the texts, I almost with I hadn't bought them. And then you can't even sell them back.

Space is an awesome club with hot people! Casa de Cerveza has happy hour with all you can drink cerveza/sangria for 1,000 pts. between 11 and 1AM, and there are tons of people from the U.S. Definitely check out a soccer game and bullfight. Visit el Palacio Real and pay extra for the guided tour!!! It's worth it.

Flora is the best! If you are sociable and want to meet a variety of different people...stay there. BUT, you must also be able to get along with all kinds of people. I loved it!
