My german was not very good but most of the people make an effort to understand you and help you in learning new words. Speaking English helped me a lot in certain situations at the very beguinning, but later I spoke only in german, although myy expressions were poor. Is a good method to learn

İstanbul is an amazing city with full of activities inside and outside the university. Whether you have money or not, there are always things to do for all kinds of people. Which I really find interesting are the festivals (cinema & music) and also theatre both private and goverment

They say that german language ist pretty difficult but I think that when you must live constantly with people that talk this language and you have interest to make friendship or whatever with theme, then you are obliged to learn it and it goes faster than if you use a book
