Course recommendations
Learn loads of "Technical" german. Being able to speak it is not the same as understanding all the scientific and technological terms. Most ppl here aren't eager to help either - they just look at you like you're a retard for not understanding and your self esteem just goes to pieces.
My academic experiences
Quality of courses
Variety of courses
Access to resources
Interaction with teachers
Interaction with international students
Interaction with local students
Personal comments
I would appreciate more support and understanding for international undergraduates! Sarcastic comments may motivate some but that does not include me.
My opinion of the university assessment
Exams at end of course
Exams throughout the course
Essays and/or projects at the end of course
Essays and/or projects throughout the course

There's really just the Anno Tobak - a café/bar place and the Kellerclub where ppl just laze around... Most parties are held in instute buildings or the main cafeteria. There also could be more parties. Night life here is so so. If you've been used to more - or at least having a choice, when you get here you'll embrace every party you get with gratitude!

I really wouldn't recommend that university

I wouldn't recommend the Technical University of Clausthal for studying... I studied computer science from 2014 until 2019 and got a bachelor degree from there.

But the teaching was not very good. It was too hard to learn at that environment. The topics were way too easy and not hard enough...  The lecturers didn't do it well.

The university is way too small and there aren't enough courses offered. I really didn't like it there.
Pros
very small, so there you know the lecturers with their names
Cons
too small, taught too badly, unfriendly lecturers, unfriendly students
