English is my mother tongue so I had no difficulty communicating and understanding. What I regreted was that non-English speaking foreigners seemed to be alienated by the English students (or vice versa) save those English student who had previously studied abroad.

When I arrived to Nottingham, I have already had plenty of language and communication experience from previous visits in UK, Malta, USA and Canada, so the language was not a problem at all.

First days it were dificult, i did'nt understand anything but day after day my communication and language knowledge were increase and there i spent my best six months.
