Housing
Type of housing: On campus

Pretty good arranged, but there were two drawbacks: 1. I had to sign my contract with company WonenMiddenBrabant, which provides accommodation for foreign students on behalf of the university prior to see the room I was renting. They also arrange rooms for students outside the campus, so if you are not lucky, you will have to stay all period away from the campus. 2. The costs were much higher than for Dutch students for the same or even slightly worse type of accommodation, in my opinion too high. But overall it was pretty OK.

Becase life in Holland can be a bit "lonely" you need the company of other people to get used to your new life and to make it eassier, especially if you come from a " colectivistic" culture as the latin american cultures.

Rooms are way too expensive if you want a decent one. It could be better especially if you are living in a 10m2 room. I just think prices are too high for what you get. If you want something decent you have to pay much more.

It's expensive, but it's so nice if you just have a 2 minute walk every morning. And most of the internationals are living on campus, so it's easy to meet!

It's organized really good since you just have to fill out a form and erverything else is done for you. But you should expect to pay a lot more than at home. Some people are leaving really far away from university, so you should spent more money for housing.

the accomodation offered by the university is pretty good especially the ones at the campus. as regard the others you have to be lucky since they are rooms of dutch students who go abroad during the period of your studying there.

Because almost every student in Tilburg live on campus or at a cycling distance of about 5 minutes. In my case, more than 25 minutes cycling separated my home from the university.

If you want party all the time, go to the dorms. If you want to live quietly ever after, choose one of the smaller houses. If you want the third way in between, go to Goirkestraat 152-158.
