Enjoy the campus life, follow all the classes and do the best for the home works, projects, in-class exams. These latter ones are gonna be so meaningful for the final grade.

This was a great experience. I'd like to quote the following to let you understand what was for me this year: "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw of the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.".

I wish I had known...
That it's not that easy to find courses matching the ones at your home university - as that was something important for my stay in Madrid

A new school, close to the capital. Good teachers, fairly good course choices - good atmosphere. Lots of exchange students!

Everything in Spain happens slowly -"mañana" is a suitable word. Cheap to travel, beautiful country, long nights. Nothing happens before midnight. Nice and open people. Had the best time, met great people and made some good connections. If you get the chanse to do something like this - take it!

Experiencia en la universidad
María C
Spain, Undergraduate
Business Studies, 2020
Overall

Alba D
Spain, Undergraduate
Communication and Information Sciences, 2019
Overall

Great development in my skills
Iranzu L
Spain,
Actuarial Science, 2023
Overall
Carlos III is considered the best university in Spain in many rankings, both in Business Administration and Actuarial Sciences. It is a university that teaches you how to think. In the exams, you are asked to solve problems that you have never seen before and you must solve them using everything you have learned in class. It has professors from all over the world. Students are encouraged to do activities outside their major and they are also trained in job search.

Careers
The university has an employment exchange in which there are posted great offers, including those of the Bank of Spain. In addition, many talks are organized with companies so that students can learn about the reality of the labor market. The biggest disadvantage is that there are no facilities for finding employment abroad.

If you study on the Getafe campus and want to go out frequently in Madrid I would recommend to search for a room in Legazpi, Delicias or Villaverde Alto. If you want to save money look for a room in Getafe close to the campus.
