It is one of the biggest universities in Madrid and you can notice it.

My experience at UCM was good but not the best. The teachers are decent but in all the courses you need to do a group work that, in my opinion, doesn't help a lot for our learning process.

I sepnt more on nightlife because I felt that I had to make the most of my time in Spain. Also we didn't have a television which meant we went out more.

Since I wasn't living in London I didn't receive my added London living allowance which made a big difference. This was the first year I went seriously into my overdraft. To save money I tended to walk everwhere, a great benefit to living centrally.

I really enjoyed the Lavapies area, it was always bustling and the nightlife was really refreshing, not too 'trendy'.
