I wish I had known...
I would have liked to know that many old spanish people are "avares (french)/ tacanos(spanish)", I wouldn't have believed the owner of my flat when she told me she would renew the flat. I idn't have any contract.

Personal recommendation
I would recommend it to someone who also want to study very well: if you only want to have fun, choose a public university in Madrid, it'll be easier(this one is private, and quite hard)

Vie étudiante d'un étranger à l'Icade Comillas
Lorraine D
France, Undergraduate
Management Science, 2021
Overall

Not very the university is private and more like a school with a blackboard and students being called up to do examples. good if you get friendly with the teachers and they don´t make you go up.Good location in the centre of town. Would rather have gone there than Alcalá outside. Also university is a small part of life out here!!

Superb professors and student attention
Jorge G
Spain, Graduate
Engineering, Electrical, 2020
Overall
I have studied here for 4 years, a degree in Industrial Engineering in ICAI. Probably the biggest difference with other prestigious Universities in Spain is the close relationship that the professors have with the students. They are always there to help you with doubts and guidance, and this doesn't happen so much in other places. Also, most of them are very experienced, both in teaching and work outside the university.
Another good point are the laboratories, which are very complete and again above the standards of Spanish engineering schools, what leads to a more practical formation.
The studies, however, are not easy, and a big number of students leave them before finishing (by their decision or by direction of the school), but if you work hard at the end it is worth it.

I know there is a special attending for Erasmus-students. Try to get in the group as soon as possible.
