The funnest event going on at the time of my arrival in July was the festival of Sampedros, in which about 200 townspeople serenaded our residencia and danced with us. The city was always having parades and little sidewalk shows and amazing concerts (set up with the cathedral wall as a backdrop). Avalon and 21 were the best clubs to go to (after 1 AM, all the teeny-boppers are out before that).

The place to party is in Las Llanas, the best café to chat with girlfriends is the Café Kivo, the best gimnasium is Sprint Center, las fiestas de las quimicas shouldn´t be missed as well as carnavales
