My favorite place to eat tapas was at D'Cuadros, they serve you huge plates of tapas for free with your drink, which is usually only 1.75 euro.

Well, since I am fluent in Spanish, I had an easy time finding my own place, they have posters advertising rooms for rent. One problem is that the water is usually heated by a "butano" which is a gas light, and its not what I am used to, you should look for "agua central".

Academic
Course recommendations
All the courses taught at the CLM are pretty easy, but mostly Americans study there, I did not take courses with actual Spaniards though.

Final comments
If you are finding you're own housing, look to live with other university students, and you do not need to go to real estate offices to look for a room.
