pamplona is a very small city, neverteheless you have some opportunities to go out (but mostly with other erasmus students) on thursday you have to got to los portales, which is a bar in casco viejo, the beer only costs 70cent and a long drink you can get for only 3€. from thursday to saturday you can go to "la travestia" (or la trave), which is a street with many bars closed to each other, after you have to go to "marengo" or "Reverendos" or "vaiven", which are disco in san juan (next to travestia) during the week you have al lot of bars you can join to. i liked "jumping jester", "kopas" and "boulevard" (in iturrama) and "long island" (in san juan) and of course you can´t miss to join the tipical life-stile of going out for eating tapas. the best atmosphere you can get in casco viejo.

Weekend here in Pamplona starts on Thursday. The best places to go out are 'La Trave' and 'Plaza del Castillo' which are basically a street of different bars. Two discotheques I know are: Marengo and Reveren2.

There really isnt much of a choice when it comes to night life, 5 or 6 decent clubs to choose from. Casco Viejo probably the best spot.

Better you find out for yourself. In a town this small, it's not that hard.

Life in Pamplona seems to go slowly, people are not in a hurry as it occurs in other large cities. One can say that the city has its own, sluggish rythm, that causes you feel well. Even if you have to stand in a line at the post office for half an hour (which happened to me yesterday) it doesn´t seem to be an horror because people enjoy this slow lifestyle. In the streets of the city you can not hear the sounds of the cars as well. Pedestrians are treated in a very favorable way by car drivers. People usually walk in Pamplona, especially students. It is the most comfortable way of transportation because everything is close and you can easily get from one place to another walking. For students the best-known parts of the city are near the university. One of them is the neighborhood of Iturrama, which is an area where most of students live. Other area is San Juan (where I live :), which is a little bit more far away from the university but it is most known because of its variety of bars and discos. The place called La Travesia is an area where everybody goes during late hours in weekends. When you pass by La Travesia between 1 and 7 o´clock on thursday, friday or saturday, you probably have to
