When I arrived I understood spanish people most of the time, but had troubles speaking the language, throughout the semester I took a course and my spanish got better and better and now I can say I have no difficulties speaking it.

This is a perfect city if you like to go out and meet people form all over the world. Plus, you have all kinds of bars and clubs with all kinds of music. You hust have to choose. If you like rock and indie, don't miss Potemkin

Spaniards are very nice and forthcoming if you ask them something, in Spanish! Easy to learn and most people were patient. Some loved it to teach us how to speak better Spanish. Overall experience very positive on this point.
