At first I wasn´t able to undersand very well what the teachers were talking about or my Spanish collegues, so I had to make an effort to cope with this, but because I was taking a Spanish course, soon it was no problem. It was very interesting learning in another language.. overall, it was pretty good and in the end there were no problems for me in this field of communication

Final comments
Do not wait for others to organize activities, but be pro-active and get to know the culture. Check the local calenders for festivities and events.
