I wish I had known...
I should have tried to get an appartment before arriving. Internet access in the house would have also been a good idea as the facilities at uni were a joke.

Final comments
Leave your wallet and credit card at home when you go out at night and just take 10-20€. Many people got robbed (with knives) and some had to take money from the ATM.

Just how many lifetime friends I would have made, because I would have brought more exclusive trinkets and treats from the Philippines if I had known in advance. Lesson learned: bring more!

If you are going abroad to study, try to see a lot of the country and the city you are going to live in. Also try to get into touch with local people!
