Academic
Course recommendations
I was a bit disappointed by the business courses. Instead I took 2 courses at the Social Sciences and Humanities Faculty. Those I enjoyed very much and I learnt a lot about the PRC there!

A bit more structure in there might be helpful. The hardest work had to be done in the end, could have been organized better.

Expenses
Main source of funding:
Government assistance
Other sources of funding:
Government assistance
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits
Things are much cheaper there, at least when you adapt to local foodhabits for instance. Cooking Western food and buying the ingredients would have cost me a lot. Travelling was surprisingly cheap taken into account distances and so! Prices for drinks in bars were even more expensive than Europe.

Personal comments
Go out for food, don't cook yourself at least if you like the local cuisine! When booking a trip make sure you check prises at different travel agency's, some are not sincere.
