Well, there is not a really big campus. So, the only accomodations found in it, are principally for students who live far from the University. One of the good thing, I think, is that we are in contact with another nationalities... And I like that. We have rooms for 2 students and also personnal rooms. And the rooms are quite big enough..So, its really fine... I love it !!

Great life and people but bad management
Florian K
Germany, Undergraduate
, 2021
Overall
I did my Erasmus in Faro. I enjoyed being in a nice place with great weather and a nearby beach. The portuguese culture is laid-back and the people living there are open minded.
The university is well equipped and the teachers are experts. I had a great experience but the organisation is more or less bad. Timetables were not fixed and the intranet didnt work properly.

Overall
the course is a good one, teachers are very helpful. they will go every length to ensure that a student understands what has been taught. Teach also have very good relationships with students. University on the whole is very friendly and is flexible in terms of everything. However, long bureaucracy of the country makes somethings impossible for foreign students. Aside that, school is great

University of Algarve an Unique Experience!
João M
Portugal, Undergraduate
Management Science, 2014
Overall
During the academic year, Faro becomes a student city full of life and activities. Relatively small and with two locations, Penha and Gambelas, the University of Algarve offer a variety of courses. At the beginning of May, the summer days start gradually to appear and it's possible to spend your free time at the amazing beaches so-known in this region. Enjoy!
