The Naviglio area is great in summer. Exchange students have regular, cheap places to go (such as Palo Alto0, but you get bored after a couple of months. It's worthwhile to go to other places as well. I really liked a small Cuban bar (good drinks, great atmosphere), I have forgotten the name but I thin it was on the street between Bocconi and Naviglio, from Bestrice d'Este to Piaggio Marzo XIV or something.

Can't beat a pizza from Da Willy's. For a facny night out in the disco's there's La Banque, near to Duomo. For a mad night out there's Palo Alto on a Tuesday night where SEN have the exchange nights out. The infamous SEN tram party is a must if there's one organised whilst you're there. On a clear day you must go to the top of Duomo. And of course a few drinks or a meal in the Brera on a Saturday night.

When dealing with administration it is best to be with someone who speaks Italian fluently as otherwise it will be very time consuming to get anything done.
