No, it was best to take the whole year as a surprise! It took a while to find accommodation, but that was only because I chose not to live on campus.

Milan is wonderful, there is no single place that I can recommend!
Do try to take advantage of the culture. La Scala and the theatre is amazing.
Bars: where do I begin? All restaurants and bars had a wonderful atmosphere. I would recommend trying to try them all!
