The first time that I lived in Geneva, I spoke French fluently. However, having studied English for three years at my home university and in Limerick, I felt a need to go on an exchange to Geneva (although this is uncommon during one's minor subject) to brush up my oral French skills. I had to return to Denmark just before Christmas because I had examinations at my home university in January that I had studied for concomitant with my studies in Geneva.

The experience allowed me to communicate with a range number of people coming from different countries, I was able to get in touch with different cultures and this was one of the most interesting aspect of my period abroad

At the beginning it was quite hard trying to speak in a language never learned before, but after the first month it was so greit being able to move everywhere

It is increadible experience because it gives the oppurtinty to communicate with people of different culture backgrounds and it expands your knowledge
