the courses at the university are very bad...low low level
BUT there are joint courses with the American University John Hopkins that has an international departement in Bologna.
The courses are free for erasmus studenst and very good...but it is just for political sciences students

I studied at MIREES, Institute for Central Eastern and Balkan Europe, and they had plenty of high profile courses in English. As an Erasmus you also got all flexibility you needed.

Access to libraries and the internet was a problem, as was the communication with the administrative staff - Italians can be very lazy when it comes to replying emails, even important ones.

it will take a revolution to better the relations between professors and the italian students, but as an international student I found it easy to get in touch with the professors, I made sure to make myself noticed by the start of courses so the professors knew that I was an exchange student
