As I study a german degree course, I alreaedy had good level of the language. But i changed my relationship to german, not just understanding the phrases literally but taking on the conotations and use of phrases. You might say i began to understand the Pragmatics of german to far greater level.

It was amazing..but the problem is i could not have a german friend, because of the german culture and my opportunity to improve my language was less. thats y i want to work and live here for a while.

When getting the change to speak a foreign language every day and in different kinds of situations the language becomes more fluent and grammatically correct. You learn much more when coping with native speakers than in the classroom in your home country. My host university organized also language courses for excange students based on their previous knowledges and offered many possibilities. I was especially interested in knowing business language and terminology.

My language skills have improved a lot - especially when it comes to actually speaking the language (i.e. German) :)

before coming here i thought that i would face some language problem over here as this language is new for me. but after coming here i never felt any problems i learned here german and at university many speak english

we should develop in the language,and should put more effect in it
