Nice environment
Saaya O
Germany, Undergraduate
Business Studies, 2021
Overall
The environment, consists of many elements.
First, courses. There are variety of courses you can apply for, and you can take any classes from any field of study. Professors are nice and classes are well organized. There are only few classes taught in English, however there are online ones as well so I am satisfied with the range of them.
The surrounding environment too. The campus is along side the river, and trees all around. So nice to be outside when it is sunny. Cafeteria meals are not bad, I think they are cheap as well.
Support for job hunting. There are several events carried out where you can learn some tips for finding jobs.

I wish I had known...
The year was very challenging, although I think that I had a lot of bad luck, the university could have done much more to make my stay more pleasurable.

Personal recommendation
It's rather snobby and if you are a native English speaker people will want to be your friend to use you to better their English and not necessarily to get to know you as a person. People place far too much emphasis on appearance as this is a modern and attractive university and are thus oblivious to its faults.

Final comments
Great for exploring Austria too. Very small place. Do not expect 24 hours amenities, big shops or a modern lifestyle - it is very much like going back a few decades in England.

Overall
The University of Passau is one of the universities where most of the students went studying abroad. There is a high interdisciplinary between study degrees, connecting language, economics, laws, politics and more.

the food ist very expensive, specially fruit and greens. Thelephone ist cheaper than in Spain, but I phone my familiy and my friends every week. The accommodation is cheaper because I lived in a Hall of residence in Spain and they are very expensive. I have travelled a lot and therefore I have spent a lot of money. But there are cheap tickets. Overall I have spent more than in Spain, but the difference is not bib

Nahezu praxisbasiert wie eine Hochschule - Breites Studienangebot
Aleksandra J
Germany,
Communication and Information Sciences, 2019
Overall

Personal development
Giovanni O
Germany, Graduate
Development Studies, 2022
Overall
I think that every experience that one's has abroad, is unique. It means, that anyway this path will help you to improve yourself as a person in a globalized World. The Masters that I choose is a lot interesting, because it goes deep inside the "Real World Problems" as called by reaserchers of Transdisciplinarity methods, which is even a methodology particularly suitable for Sustainable development and sustainability science to achieve their aims, whixh are not only the environment, but improving "human capabilities" (As Amartya Sen said) in a sustainable environment. This and more others deep topics shape my Masters, which I am happy to have joined.
