Very good, I improved my French and I met a lot of friends with whom I am still in contact. My knowledge of French allowed me to go back to France, for a placement in the Louvre Museum.

My French has improved a lot since I am here, but it is true that it would have not been the case if I had not tried to mixed with French students. Most of my friends here are French.

Live with french people and get french friends to get the best skills and combine it with studies. Try to avoid too many international friends you speak english with.

I didn't really get to practice the language outside of the classrooms which was disappointing. I spoke most of the time with my host family and that helped me a lot.

I think that if you are not born in the country it's almost impossible to be totally confortable in ALL situations.
