Living on campus was a good experience for me. It was a good chance to get to know people. The only problem was the cleanliness of my fellows using the kitchen and the bathroom and not cleaning up afterwards.
But nevertheless living on campus is a good start in France not knowing anyone

To learn the language there where it is spoken is the best way. It was hard to follow classes though cuz I hardly spoke French at all but after a while one gets into it.
