A beautiful region full of fascinating places, near the Swiss and Italian border. I recommend south of France as a destination of a longer travel.

Personal comments
The best way to learn the language is to go the country where it's spoken. The beginnings were pretty hard for me and frustrating sometimes, but it was worth to get through all that. I improved my language skills immensely.
