Housing
Type of housing: RESIDENCE
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
i HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE IN AN APARTMENT OFF CAMPUS AND IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I HAD 24-HOUR EXPOSURE TO THE LANGUAGE AND I ALSO HAD THE FREEDOM TO INVITE GUESTS TO HAVE SOCIAL GATHERINGS UPON MY OWN CONSENT.

Personal comments
THERE ARE MANY PLACES OF ACCOMMODATION. I PERSONALLY PREFER AN APARTMENT AS OPPOSED TO THE RESIDENCE, BUT FOR A NEWCOMER TO SPAIN IT IS A VERY GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO MEET OTHER FOREIGNERS WHOM ARE ALSO INTERESTED IN STUDYING SPANISH.

Because at home I used to live with my parents, so I don't spend nothing for food, telephone and housing. There I travelled more, but the nightlife in Spain is cheaper than in my country.

Personal spending habits
The cost of living is much cheaper than in the United States, however, within the U.S. I do not do much travelling therefore I obviously spent more travelling in Spain since my travelling experience within the U.S. is limited.

A major cost-saver would be to rent an apartment and not pay the high price of the residences.

Buenos estudios

Spain,
Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy, 2020
Overall
