Overall

I wish I had known...

I am glad that I didn´t have a ERASMUS grant for one year because I would have prefered to make an internship than going another semester to the university. The quality of the courses wasn´t so high and I didn´t improve so much. While you are working with spanish people, I think, you still get to know more about the country and you have more opportunities to improve.

In my opinion:

I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.

Final comments

The ERASMUS center, organized by students, is quite good. Go there, get an ID, and they will send you about one or two short messages a week and send you letters with all important student-parties and student-travels. They are really good, and mainly in the beginning it helps you to know more people.

I wish I knew more about the university system as I got quiet shocked when I found out that hardly anything is really organised here.

Final comments

Valencia is a great city, it's very beautiful and there are lots of things to discover and visit. There are cheap airline companies who will bring you here from nearly anywhere in Europe.

Especialmente, la facultad de Económicas ha sido premiada entre las 110 mejores de todo el mundo.
Es un grado muy compelto, en el que los profesores están ahí para ayuadarte, pero OJO!, no te regalan nada.

Además, recientemente se ha convertido en una de las universidades españolas que más erasmus reciben y envían. No dudes en venir si quieres estudiar en un ambiente internacional, conocer gente y obtener un grado actualizado a las competencias del mercado.

La universidad también posee un centro adscrito para los estudiantes que quieran aprender otros idiomas, un centro de aprendizaje, un polideportivo para realizar actividades y campeonatos, etc.

I wish I had known...

I had already know this, but I know that other students said that they had wished they had known that everyone dresses really nicely. There were times when certain students felt uncomfortable because they were underdressed (shorts, tee-shirt, flip-flops, etc), and many found themselves buying clothes there. Best to bring nice clothes with you so that you don't have to spend the money when you get there buying new stuff unless you were already planning on shopping there.

It definitely helps to have atleast a basic level of spanish. It is not a very touristy city, so not too many people speak english.

Hice un doble Grado, Ciencias de la actividad Física y el Deporte y Fisioterapia, que fue el que más me interesó, por lo que hice un Posgrado en la Universidad Europea de Canarias, donde aprendí de verdad lo necesario para desarrollarme profesionalmente con seguridad y competencia. Los profesores del Máster de Terapias Manuales Terapéuticas para el tratamiento del Dolor eran magníficos docentes y todos vocacionales. Descubrí mi vocación gracias a ellos y les estoy muy agradecido por su empeño.
