Though I was not dependent much on the university itself, I think they care about the foreign students. Especially for people studying engineering I would strongly recommend it.

It takes time to get into the Dutch culture if one wants to. It is possible, however, it is not right away. Half a year might not be enough.

I’m a novice learner of R. There are intensive R applications in course ´inferential statistics’. But before you take a look at the mandatory week assignment, you have no information about how much workload and what level of R applications you must do every week. This design is totally not friendly to novice of R. And when I asked help from the teacher, he just said ´Theoretically students get into this course should have basic knowledge of R. I don’t know how I can help you’. There is no responses from the student support system. But you can try. I don’t recommend. But maybe you will not be enrolled into a course like this. Good luck.
