In Norway almost everybody speaks English, so I had no problems with communication eventhou i did not speak Norwegian.

The problem is that there are two different languages in Norway. Bokmål and Nynorsk, and everybody!!! speaks dialekt. This is pretty hard!!!!

travelling can be quite cheap, because there are good student reductions. Clothes are not very expansive. Alcohol is VERY expansive.
