DON'T GO TO UNIVERSITY
Ragnar R
Ireland, Undergraduate
, 2019
Overall
University is only good for one type of people, those who are too lazy to go to work and instead prefer to waste their time in college. UCC is an awful place, the mentality is all about liberal indoctrination and the acceptance of sexual deviants (lgbt). The education is all about do-it-yourself as most modules are poorly explained by lecturers and students are required to find all answers by themselves, if they wanted to do that they wouldn't certainly go to university. I would not recommend going here, instead you should seek your potential elsewhere, start your own company, learn programming in your spare time, find a job that provides good living standards, join the army and serve your nation, anything but not university, it's just a little advice.

UCC experiences
Laura C

Humanities, 2018
Overall
UCC is a very competitive university. The courses available are great and very interesting.  The campus is huge and provides students with everything you could prossibly need, such as restaurants, shops, library, coffee shops, helth complex, and even free gym.

Interesting classes, poor career services.
Oisin O
France, Graduate
, 2021
Overall
All of the classes were online as we were under lockdown and I think the quality of the teaching suffered because we never met the teachers or the other students in person. Still I graduated with a 1.1 honours degree as I was interested in the subject matter.

Careers
The careers services were not very helpful. I wanted to get an idea of what jobs my arts degree might qualify me for as I needed a job after graduating but they weren't able to give me an answer.

I still don't have an idea of what jobs you can get with a philosophy degree, perhaps none. They considered taking me on for a PhD but I decided I didn't want to take that path.

Pros
The teachers were genuinely interested in what they were teaching.
Cons
They need to give better advice on what career paths the degree will give you.

The best year of my life. Don't be afraid. Don't miss Dublin, the Moher Cliffs, Galway, and the Burren Route.
