I had a bit of a problem in getting into the different accent of the "Dubliners", but they were always very nice and didn't have problems in repeating everything.

What you can't miss in Dublin are pubs: there are so many, for every taste. But discopubs are also frequent, and usually have a free entrance. The best one? Zanzibar. The music is great, and the place itself is amazing. But remember that you should be 21 (sometimes they let you enter even if you are younger).

The accomodation was quite good and not expensive: the facilities were OK, maybe the room was too small, but the good point was that there were a lot of people from different countries, so it was like living in the centre of the world.

The UCD student pub was always a good place to meet other students if you didn't want to go too far from home. In the city centre, I particularly liked the Red Box for a fun night. Bewley's on Grafton St. was always great for coffee and a sandwich. Also, one must see a rugby match while you're there!

I advice everybody to go to this university because the campus experience is one of the best you can enjoy, the city is great, you have a lot of cheap travel opportunities.
