Because food is more expensive in Ireland than in France, I don't use the phone here to communicate but internet, and I travel more this year than normally.

The cost of living in New Orleans is very cheap and at the time I studied in Ireland the exchange rate was not great.

Although things seemed more expensive, as long as you are not crazy with your money, and budget to a certain extent it is very doable with money left over for lots of travel:)

“Atmosphere amongst students”

In general within this University I found there to be a common theme of hard-work amongst students and this atmosphere brings the best out of students and pushes them to be the best they can be.

¿Por qué?

I was sharing a house with three others. All of them were natives and allready worked. It seemed like all the other Erasmus students didn´t mix up to much with natives and stayed in the Erasmus circle with all of the other foreigners. So I think it´s good if you live together with natives because you ahve the opportunity to learn more about the country and its people. It´t better for your english as well! There were a lot of Germans busy with getting to know other Germans! I guess that´s not the sense of going abroad!

I lived in the on campus flats the first year after they were build so there were in great shape. It was the perfect situation to get to know lots of other students
