Irish people are very open-minded. For that reason it is not very difficult to get to know some native people. This will give you the opportunity to improve your English!

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: In campus in a different residence
Why?
I was at Roebuck castle before it was refurbished. Then, it wasn´t as nice as the new facilities. Still campus life is worth it.

Personal comments
Most of the residences are nice, clean, with a good situation and well equipped. I had bad luck, choosing the worst residence, old and dirty. I believe is not a residence anymore.

The rates for living on campus (comparatively with the same type of accommodation in the same area, considering the cost for room alone, minus the negligible difference in utilities, etc.) are much higher (about 50% higher). There is no sense of accountability or fair treatment from the administration of on-campus living either. There are a great deal of rules and fees for which they will bill you without any measure for filing a dispute over how they were applied.
