Personal comments
Astor College, the dorm, was jail-like, but every floor was a great mix of internationals. Much of the housing is conveniently situated in down-town London. I had some friends who had to hike from 40 min away. Like in real-estate, Location is everything!

Personal social experience
Personal comments
Bar Rhumba had the best D+B, young crowd. Movies in Leicester square are a rip off, with the exception of the Prince ____.
Do Sunday mornings in Little Italy.
Venture out to the far-away clubs for the best crowds.

Academic
Course recommendations
Make sure to register early, along with the native students. I got screwed when I showed up and there were no courses available.
Watch out for courses for "visiting students" which may be crummy and taught by Grad students.
Some say UCL loves exchange students for their tuition alone. This might just be true.

In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
Certain programs at UCL were very rigorous, others, like the ARt depts. gave students time to work independantly and enjoy other aspects of life. I encourage anyone looking to meet people and live in a city to GO TO LONDON!!!
