they were o.k. not great but not poor. the heating was really bad in the winter because the heaters were not so warm and the windows allowed cold air to come in.

check if u have lectures in english before coming, by writting directly to the professor if its possible.usually,in sciences, they ALWAYS are in finnish, unless in your home university tell u that are in english.

The language of instruction was Finnish, but there was a special group for the foreign students, so I didn't have any problems with communication or whatsoever

I wish I had learned a bit more, but there is no way to learn Finnish in three months. I would definitely suggest a survival course before arriving in Finland and continuation courses upon arrival.
