My native language is English and Australia is as well. I did not face a language barrier, but I made many many European friends who I helped with their English and they taught me a bit of all their languages. The challenges of this experience were not lingual, they were related to personal growth, developing my character, doing it alone without a set program.

The australian english is pretty different from the USA and UK one. At the begin was quite difficult to understand everything. For a better improvement of your lenguage avoid as much as you can people of your home country.

My experience in the south university of adelaide was great. As already said,it alloxs me to improve my english knowledge and it permits me to met new people from everywhere.

Very good. Although I could cope with most situations before I learned so much during my stay. The best thing for learning a language is going to a foreign country.
