I enjoyed very much the opportunity to study and to converse in English. My English was at a high level before my stay in Sloveneia and it has rather improved during my studies there mainly thanks to the contacts with the international students.
I have learnt some bais Slovene expressions thanks to the common basics of the local language and my mother tongue. The Slovene courses I had helped me a lot in my everyday communication in public places and institutions.

In general the people speak english, i just had some problems in the some supermarket when i asked for something.
In University everybody speak english.

You can communicate with almost everyone in English and if you want to try to learn Slovenian you can try. But you have to know that it is not a easy bussines
