The student nations in Uppsala Universitet. It is a must to take part in those nations as Uppsala is a university town. The clubs in Stockholms, V-Dala, Norlands nation for night life. And, the fika at Varmlands, Osgota nation. The pubs at the nation shouldn't be missed, esp the 'elevation party' at Kalmar nation and the jazz night at Uplands nation.

i very much enjoyed the fact that courses take place in one-month blocks; you do one course full-time for a month, then sit the exam and only then do you start worrying about the next course

See as much as you can, especially Lappland is worth going! Stockholm is nearby, take the Swebus express, with a student ticket for 45sek.
